It did open the door to something that Airon wanted to explore. He was intrigued by the pedometer. Airon decided to wear it all day for normal activity and find out how many steps that would generate. His big experiment was yesterday. Grand total...11,599. He was quite impressed with the results.
Over the weekend, we set up a bird watching station. I got this idea from another blog. So my friend, if you read this, you'll know the idea came directly from you. We set up two bird feeders with seed. We also added a hummingbird feeder. So far, no takers on the seed, but the hummingbirds have been active all day long. I got a great bird guide that is easy to navigate for both of the boys. They have a large viewing window, a sketch pad, binoculars, and colored pencils to make their sketches come alive. Now all we're missing is the birds who want seed.
